Your RealAge is how old your body thinks you are based on your health and health habits – good and bad. You can find out your RealAge by taking the RealAge Test. This quiz looks at your lifestyle, genetics and medical history. Up to 70% of overall health depends on how well you take care of yourself, so you have a lot of control over how young you feel! What is the RealAge Test?
The RealAge Test is Sharecare’s clinically validated health-risk assessment. It guides you through a series of questions to figure out how fast you’re aging based on your lifestyle and medical history. It also looks at some often-overlooked risk factors like relationships and stress and how these factors may be impacting your health. Your RealAge is your first step to helping you understand how your good and bad habits are impacting your health. From there, the Sharecare app provides you with content and programs to help you improve your overall health and reach a younger RealAge.
How do I take the RealAge Test?
To take the RealAge Test, you need to create your account with Sharecare and download the app. Blue Cross of Idaho members have exclusive access to Sharecare. The only way to get access to the Blue Cross of Idaho-Sharecare experience is to visit bcidaho.sharecare.com and download the app through the sign-up link. Do not download the app directly through the App Store or Google Play.
Once you’ve created an account and downloaded the app, you will be prompted to take the RealAge Test.
How you benefit from the RealAge Test
After you complete the RealAge Test, Sharecare will show you personalized content to help you improve your RealAge. Depending on which areas you need to focus on, you may get tips on things like how to get more sleep, do more cardio exercise or stress less. Sharecare will show you a variety of ways to improve your health, letting you to choose what fits your lifestyle.
Can I lower my RealAge?
You can lower your RealAge by earning green days, which is the measurement Sharecare uses to track your progress. Sharecare measures 13 health factors, from sleep to stress levels to diet and activity. You earn a green day when you complete eight of the 13 health trackers in a day. When you earn 60 green days in a 90-day timeframe, you’ll be able to recalculate your RealAge to see how you have improved your health.
