Blue Cross of Idaho celebrates pride

Supporting the communities of Idaho

At Blue Cross of Idaho, we are dedicated to advocating for the health of all Idahoans – regardless of where they live, their backgrounds, beliefs or any other factor. This is especially important for marginalized communities, including the LGBTQ+ community. We show up for our members, their families and neighbors to let them know that we are here for them.

This year’s Boise Pride had an amazing turnout with more than 70 Blue Cross of Idaho employees, plus more friends and family, taking part in the Pride parade and manning our booth at the Festival.  This year was an extra meaningful time for our volunteers at Pride based on the warm reception we experienced from attendees and other community partners at our booth, walking the grounds, and marching in the parade.

As a mission-driven organization, we are committed to supporting communities across the state, helping improve access to quality healthcare while addressing health disparities, ensuring that everyone can get the quality care they deserve.
