Celebrating the Fourth of July

Ringing in freedom at the Liberty on Parade in Idaho Falls

On the Fourth of July, we celebrated with our fellow Idahoans at the Liberty on Parade event in Idaho Falls. As the title sponsor, we led the parade, which had more than 175,000 people watching. The theme of the parade this year was “Let Freedom Ring” and we designed a float fitting the theme with revolving stars, shooting stars and no shortage of sparkle.

All our hard work paid off and we were thrilled to win the Best Overall Entry award. Our employees and their families loved walking in the parade and we handed out more than 60,000 pieces of candy to the excited onlookers.

Events like these are truly one of our favorite things to do at Blue Cross of Idaho. They give us a chance to meet our members and fellow Idahoans across the state.
