Make sure you’re getting the most out of you benefits with these screenings

Getting basic preventive care is one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. As a Blue Cross of Idaho member, you get access to important preventive screenings at little to no cost to you. Preventive screenings can help you catch any issues early on when they are easier to treat.

Key screenings

Here are some important screenings that may be important for you to get, depending on your age and health risks:

Talk to your doctor

You can discuss these screenings with your doctor at your annual wellness visit. You doctor will be able to recommend which screenings you should get and how often to get them. If you have health risks like a chronic disease, obesity or a family history of a disease, your doctor may recommend additional screenings.
