IngenioRx becoming CarelonRx

Our pharmacy partner is changing its name

Blue Cross of Idaho Rx’s pharmacy partner is changing its name, but our members won’t see any changes to the great service it offers.

As of January 1, 2023, IngenioRx will become CarelonRx. This means members who use home delivery and specialty pharmacy services will start seeing the CarelonRx name on packaging and letters. As part of this change, home delivery will be referred to as CarelonRx Mail, and specialty pharmacy will be called CarelonRx Specialty Pharmacy.

Members who already use these services won’t need to do anything to continue getting their prescription drugs. Additionally, there will be no changes to the web portal and members will not need to make any changes to their member accounts.

Members who have questions can call the Blue Cross of Idaho Rx Customer Service number listed on the back of their member ID cards.
