While many people across the country have already gotten their COVID-19 vaccination, there are still questions about the safety of the vaccines and how they work.
The vaccines were thoroughly tested before they were authorized for use and meet the FDA’s rigorous requirements for both safety and testing. You can learn more at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)’s website at cdc.gov/coronavirus.
You will pay nothing to get a COVID-19 vaccine, either. The federal government is paying for the COVID-19 vaccines, and there is no member cost sharing – including deductibles or copays. Getting vaccinated is an important step as we work to get life back to normal.
If you have questions about the vaccines, we encourage you to talk to your doctor. You can also watch bcidaho.com/coronavirus for updates as we get them.
