Changes to Member ID cards

New information on your Blue Cross of Idaho member ID card

Did you receive a new member ID card in the mail? You may have noticed something different on it. Here is a quick look at what has changed on our Blue Cross of Idaho member ID cards.

Important healthcare amounts in one place

Beginning January 1, 2022, Blue Cross of Idaho member ID card will now show your plan’s individual and/or family in- and out-of-network deductibles, as well as out-of-pocket maximums, if applicable to your plan. You will be able to see this information on both your physical and digital ID cards.

Printing this information on member ID cards makes this information more easily accessible when you need it. As part of this update, we will no longer be printing primary care provider names on member ID cards.

Medicare Advantage plans or Medicaid coverage are not included in this update.

Where can I find my digital ID card?

You can find your digital ID card in the Blue Cross of Idaho member app by logging into the app and selecting ID Card in the upper-right corner. Don't have the app? Download it in the App Store or Google Play Store today!

You can also view your digital member ID card on the member portal by logging into your member account at members.bcidaho.com and selecting Need your ID card? from the member portal homepage.
